Starting in small groups
Teams start in scheduled waves organised by grade category and event capacity. This helps keep the pool, preparation areas and courses calm, supported and safe.
Hydration and support throughout the day
Hydration is available, and every participant should bring a clearly labelled water bottle. Event staff and volunteers guide teams throughout the day.
Every leg, carefully supported
Lifeguards, helmet checks, controlled courses, marshals and on-site medical support cover every stage of the event.
