Preparing & what to bring
A simple checklist and gentle, age-appropriate practice help every child arrive feeling confident and ready.
Preparing
A little practice goes a long way
No elite training plan is needed. Regular, age-appropriate practice can help children arrive feeling ready and confident.
- Begin practising gradually rather than trying to cover the full distance immediately.
- Practise swimming, cycling and running in an age-appropriate and supervised setting.
- Train with teammates where practical.
- Become comfortable with safe transitions and team handovers.
- Check the bicycle and helmet before event day.
- Read all event-specific instructions sent by Tribloom and the host school.
